The existing vinyl and barrier matting had been down for many years, showing heavy wear and damage to the subfloor from heavy goods trolleys. Using a diamond grinder, the team removed the old adhesive and smoothing compound to return to the substrate, ready to apply Ardex one coat DPM.
After finishing the subfloor with a smoothing compound, the Newaly Team installed 70 sqm2 of Amtico Entryway in Ruffian design to help prevent slips and trips and to reduce dirt from being tracked into clinical environments.
